Founder Director, MAHSI

MGM Allied Health Sciences Institute

As we journey through another remarkable year at MAHSI, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the dedication, enthusiasm, and spirit of our institute. Our institute is committed to academic excellence, holistic development, and fostering a vibrant campus life where each student can grow, learn, and thrive.

This year has been marked by several enriching events and celebrations that have brought us closer and strengthened our collective commitment to education, compassion, and service.

The Sports Day celebration showcased the athletic talents of our students, emphasizing the importance of physical fitness and the values of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. The Physiotherapy Day celebrations marked the importance of honouring the vital role physiotherapy plays in enhancing well-being and quality of life. With special lectures on low back pain, a poster and model competition, and the esteemed presence of Justice V. S. Kokje, the event offered invaluable insights into both clinical knowledge and community service.

Our Graduation Ceremony with Dr. Amitabh Verma as the guest of Honour was another exhilarating moment, celebrating the achievements and hard work of our students as they embarked on new professional journeys. Connecting with our former students at the Alumni Meet was equally inspiring, as alumni shared their stories, successes, and experiences with our current students. This ongoing bond between past and present students is a testament to the enduring impact of the MAHSI family.

The Readers Club has also been a source of intellectual stimulation, encouraging students to explore the world of literature and to engage in thoughtful discussions. The club’s activities have inspired a love for reading and critical thinking, promoting lifelong learning.

Our cultural heritage was beautifully celebrated with Ganesh Chaturthi and Janmashtami, joyous occasions that brought together students, faculty, and staff to honour the values of unity, devotion, and celebration of life. The festivities provided a sense of community and tradition, enhancing the spiritual and cultural fabric of our campus.

Each of these events and celebrations is a step toward fulfilling MAHSI’s mission to nurture compassionate, skilled, and well-rounded healthcare professionals. I am grateful to each one of you for your dedication, hard work, and the spirit you bring to our institute.

As we look forward to the year ahead, let us continue to pursue excellence, support one another, and make a positive impact on the lives we touch.

With warm regards,

Dr. D. K. Taneja
